100 % fungal chitosan (from Aspergillus Niger) in powder form

KillBrett® is a natural, vegan, allergen free product made from 100% fungal chitosan (extracted from Aspergillus niger). Its ability to reduce microbial populations has been widely documented. It has a wide spectrum anti-microbial effect, eliminating Brettanomyces, some non-Saccharomyces, Lactic Acid Bacteria and Acetic Acid Bacteria.

KillBrett® is easy to use and effective at dosages as low as 4 g/hL. It can be used to significantly decrease the population of undesirable microorganisms, such as Brettanomyces, and to prevent their negative impacts.

  • Preventive: 2-4 g/hL every 4 months.

  • Curative: 5-8 g/hL, followed by racking

Application: all type of wines.

Packaging: 100 g and 1 kg
