VinoStab® is sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) to help prevent and/or suppress the formation of tartrate crystals(potassium bitartrate) in wine. VinoStab® helps prevent tartrate crystals’ microscopic nuclei from growing. VinoStab®’s stabilizing effect depends on temperature. The stabilising effect may be insufficient when the wine is exposed to extreme cold at a later date. VinoStab® does not work for calcium tartrate precipitation.
Directions For Use
Protein stability is key. Lab analysis by TSat is required to determine if the wine meets baseline criteria for CMC use. Not to be used on red or rose wines.
Dated expiration. Store in a dry, well ventilated environment at a temperature between 5-25°C (41-77ºF).
